    Because if chest bursters weren’t bad enough, the host becomes a zombie… “Nature’s absolutely incredible isn’t it?” .__.

    Also… why the hell would some of those statuses reduce the damage of a gun? I could understand melee or weapons that
    use your strength like thrown weapons, but a firearm deals less damage because you’re sick/tired? ‘,:l

    • That’s an excellent question. So I went back and looked at the CRB and Fatigued only reduces melee damage.

      Then I looked at Sickened and it says:

      You take a –2 penalty to attack rolls, weapon damage rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks.

      We use Hero Lab and it automatically reduced the firearm damage.

      It doesn’t make sense to me; the firearm had that he same amount of propulsion regardless of the condition of the user.

      Perhaps though, the sickened attacker doesn’t hit an optimal spot on the target, dealing less damage.
